While prices on absolutely everything are higher, including charcoal - peruse your grocery store for charcoal deals. The last time I found El Diablo was at an Amigos United #40 for $15, other United's didn't stock. I've found other brands, usually mesquite lump (which I love btw) at the same United but not others. This weekend I found Frontier quebracho briquettes at Fiesta Foods, another grocery store located in my towns Barrios District

Check your Spanish/Mexican grocery stores for deals. They're often locally family owned, regional.

As well every grocery store I go to has a cookout aisle. I've found unadvertised deals many times. Coals, starters, pellets, chunks, splits

Plan your bodega route wisely

Just got B&B Lump from Ace Hardware. Was not on sale. Have not seen any Mexican Grocery Stores around me although I am sure there are some
