Too bad I didn't know about this before Mother's Day... and the hubby already got a new chain saw for his advance Father's Day gift. :)
 
I like the fact you can leave half off, I use the firebrick method for doing long cooks on the kettle for brisket or butts. That open space is easy access to add wood/coal. Also like the pic...you can have taters, onions down by the coals and easy access to grab w/out removing the entire grate....kinda cool.
 
Involved were one texan, 3 australians and one german. And it took place on our chinese balcony.

This sounds just like the lead into a joke that normally involves either a parachute, bartender or a blond, but never a chinese balcony.
