Want to first say thank-you to allowing our event to join the BBQ-bretheren board. I am very impressed with the site. We are looking for help from anyone who is interested in being part of our Jack Daniels qualifying event.
We are getting the word out to see if we can get 5 to 10 more BBQ teams to come to Central Point, OR for Battle of the Bones – 2012 www.battleofthebones.com All proceeds to go the Central Point Parks Foundation to help local kids and families. The event is run by the City’s dedicated and professional staff. We will cater to you!
We are sanctioned with the Pacific Northwest BBQ Association and we need at least 5 more teams to make it a qualifier for the Jack Daniel World Championship Invitational Barbecue.
We have:
1. Over $10,000 in CASH prizes – paid the night of the event.
2. YOU can vend as well to make more money!
3. On-site camping
4. On-site showers
5. Water and power hookups in your designated spot in the park.
6. Complimentary Craft Beer tickets
7. ALL MEAT provided.
8. Only a $25.00 entry fee.
9. We have changed the rules to allow any new teams to only cook 100 pounds of people choice. Can cook more if they desire.
We would love to have you and your team at the event. If you cannot make it, can you please let your BBQ friends know so we can continue to grow this great event.
