If I had to do it all over again, would definitely do this over my maverick. When the maverick dies (or I give it to my son), I know what I'll be buying.

I got tired of replacing my Maverick probes. I'm a clean freak and get overzealous with cleaning them after cooks. Hoping I have better luck with the Thermoworks probes.

I hope so too. I hate the user interface of the maverick...I gave up using the remote. The instructions were awful.
