Yours must be well sheltered from the wind. Mine doesn't do too well with even a little wind.

My patio is pretty deep and opens to the east. Not a common wind direction here. However whenever the wind blows hard it's like a whirlwind and everything lifts up. I've been sitting at the table with an open table umbrella many times when it has lifted up and flown either into a neighbors yard or across the house into the front yard. We Usually break one Or two large umbrellas per year.
