Show us your BBQ Shed/Shack

Soon to be building a space in the back left next to the building.

I live in town on reg city lot but if I had a little more room I'd setup something like this just off my back porch to side. Probally have the top of back wall open with pea gravel floor (like playgrounds).run electric to it for lights, outlets n tunes.

Or this but I'd add sides up to about 4-6" short of roof. With big windows or shutters - open when nice n closed in cold or rain or snow.

Man do you guys really want me to post a picture of my front yard? LOL nothing fancy. I wheel my vertical offset from the garage to the drive way, I cook with the other cookers in the front yard :D

Fark yes...I'm not the only one.

I'm jealous of this awesome setups and abode's. I need a better job!

I built a 10x30 deck across he back of my garage and built a 12x12 shed on the end of the garage. The shed is a temporary structure sitting on three skids and is not attached to the garage.

The shed is more for storing my Weber collection, supplies and whatnot than it is a cooking shack/shed.

I have learned this, 12x12 may sound big, but it's not. If I had it to do over again I would have built no smaller than 16x12, preferably 20x12.

Y2K, Weber bunker?

I've moved the family 100 miles closer to work to a nice secluded 12.5 acre "tree farm", as I like to call it.

I started on this shed/building over a year ago, and am still working on finishing some details.

I got most of the wood from a reclaimed walkway that came from the side of the house to the drive. The siding and Battens were rough cut Poplar 1x10s. 35 total for about $6/board.

Dimensions of the structure are 8'deep x 12'wide, plus the 3' overhang in the front.

Roof tin was left over from the neighbor that I got on the cheap.

I work slow.
It's almost square. :twitch:
It works.

But...

I don't have to stand in the rain to cook.
Wind blockage is fantastic.
I can tuck the smoker into the back or corners for really windy days.

Have to finish painting the roof tin and boxing in the corners this weekend.
Like I said, I work slow.

Pardon my junk.
