Hey gang,
This is my first post, so I'm sending out a hi ya'all to my fellow brothers in BBQ.
I began my journey with a class hosted by Steve Rogers and the 3 Eyz BBQ team in Hampstead, Maryland, several years ago and have been hooked on low n slow ever since. I enjoy cooking pork, wild game, and homemade sausage best...haven't tackled the $60 cut of brisket yet.
I cook on an 18.5" Weber Smokey Mountain (and had a Pit Barrel Cooker for about a year) but am looking to upgrade to either an insulated cabinet smoker or an offset to take my game to the next level. Right now, the only BBQ judges in my life are friends, colleagues, and my wife and two kids (both under 5). I don't plan on competing or catering for a living.
Looking forward to sharing and learning on this great forum.
