season a new smoker

I need some input on this got my new Bandera and was wondering should I go ahead and season as usual or do a burn to clear contaminants then season?
 
I'd wipe it out with a rag and acetone, give it 7 minutes then spray it with cooking spray, fire it up and Season it..........
