The wife and I ate at Hinode Japanese steakhouse last night and the Hispanic Chef ( yes, in a Japanese place:) blended a sauce right on the grill. Looked to be about 3 or 4 parts Teriyaki sauce to one part of Sriracha. It went darned good on everything from steak to seafood!
I think a few drops of Lemon juice would really have put it over the top!

anyone ever tried that combination?
 
I've tried that combo, its good, but I like Gochujang watered down with teryaki a little better.

You're right about the lemon. It wants a little fruityness to balance it out.
 
Haven't had that mix but do mix Sweet Chili Sauce and Sriracha and you can put that on damn near anything!
