Thermostat Installation - would this be a good idea?

I am going to wait to install the thermostats/thermometers until after I move it. But I was thinking, would it make sense to put anti-seize compound on the threads before installing them? I searched and didn't see anything posted like this.
 
I never thought about this. Also never had one stick either. Should be ok as long as you don't put so much that it leaks into the cooker.
 
I never had one that I could not get off by hand so I would not use anything .
