So, as some read from a previous post, with some stern nudging from the wife, I got a new Weber Performer 22" grill. After getting it put together, I was instructed to promptly cook on it! So that first night I built a fire to burn it in. Charcoal and Applewood chunks. Didn't grill anything but the little boy and I ended up doing S'mOreos (Oreos instead of graham crackers - sugar rush as that is the first real sugar I have had in over a year - last time too - wow was to much).

The next night - Beef kabobs, stuffed jalapeno peppers, and Avocado/Cucumber salsa.

Marinaded the beef for about 4 hours in Worcestershire, black pepper, kosher salt, garlic, and onion vacuum sealed and tossed in the fridge.

Used the fire containers to hold the charcoal and apple wood chunks off to the sides. Direct cook on the kabobs and indirect on the peppers. I did mop the kabobs with the marinade mixture ...
