Hi all,
I recently moved into a house that has a spot for what used to hold an outdoor built-in grill. I am looking at a couple of models and am having trouble deciding. I'm giving the sales reps some measurements but they think that the space may still need some modification to get a grill to go in. The space is about 32" wide and about 19.5" deep. The height at the front is 10".
First model I looked at was a Delta Heat 32" grill (DHGB32-B) for $1819. The sales rep told me I would also need a firebox for $549 (there is some wood on the inside of the box), $100 for a gas hose and $100 for delivery, $150 for hookup. This is from Rich's.
The other model I found was a KitchenAid 30" Model 740-0780 at Home Depot. The sales reps there are not as knowledgeable. Nobody knows if I need a firebox or not. The grill is $799 and I would need a $100 hose to convert it to natural gas.
If anyone can chime in on either of these models or anything else I would appreciate it.
