Started competing in chili cookoffs back in the 1990's and have competed in more than I care to count. I became a CBJ in MiM in 2005, then MBN and in GBA in 2010. I've probably judged 130+- BBQ comps (sanctioned and unsanctioned) over this time. That said, I really enjoy competing more than I enjoy judging, and hope to get back to doing 4 or 5 a year in the near future.

LOL! You guys are great. First time I checked this thread since my last post. ThatOneDude, if yours counts as a salad then mine does too! Atkins lunch, salad, avacado, turkey sandwich, ginger ale, 'nothing'. Glad to see all of us skinny BBQ guys on a diet.

I had a farking hot dog, chips, animal crackers and a juice box at the jacksonville zoo with my youngest son's 3rd grade class.

It's EMS week, so our company had a Tri-Tip BBQ. One of our employees made a trailered Santa Maria style pit. We ate like big fat farkers, all on the companies dime!!!! It was great, even if he won't listen to me about how to slice a TT!
