My other chore for today - baking a batch of pretzel rolls.
Pre-water bath
Post-bake
The dough isn't very different from regular dough for rolls. However, after the rolls are formed, they are put in a bath of boiling water made from water, baking soda, salt and sugar, for 30-seconds or so per side. Then they get coarse or flake salt sprinkled on and are baked.
