Baby backs and burgers

Braved the heat and fired up the direct heat cooker today - used Blazing Coco coconut shell charcoal logs - stuff works great - 8 or 9 pieces kept me at 300 for 3 plus hours



Baby backs took about 2.5 hours - used a Carolina style mop sauce



Burgers were just under an hour - also threw on some corn on the cob and twice baked potatoes



Hot one in Dallas today - 108 !

I am lazy - have always done in foil - not sure why

It’s a great cooking vessel - have not used my offset all summer - really enjoy the flavor I get off the direct heat and the fat hitting the coals
