Started out a week ago Thursday from SE FL to Chattanooga.
First mandatory stop

Next stop at MM82 in Georgia to pick up some sausage

Friday morning went for a nice walk by the Tennessee River




Onto the Incline Railway up to Lookout Mountain

After my original post I was locked out and finally back on this morning
Saturday found us headed toward the Southeast Bash
A minor milestone

Made it to the bash, thanks for organizing Ron

In the afternoon headed toward Flat Rock, NC
The drive thru the Smokeys was beautiful
First rest area in NC




Awoke if Flat Rock and found a park for a nice morning walk



After the walk showered and headed to Columbia, SC

First Sunday stop Spartanburg, SC
Awful quiet on a Sunday morning







Stopped for a walk around downtown Greenville, SC

Finally headed to Columbia, SC

Loaded up the truck after breakfast and headed to Charleston, SC

Made Charleston around noon, a little pron

After a good nights sleep we will head to Savannah, GA

Thank you so much, Marty! I loved every minute and every picture. I feel like I went on a vacation and got a history lesson as well. The only problem is that I didn't see hardly anything I could eat. Surely you ate more than one plate of shrimp and grits -- looked lovely, BTW.

Great trip!

Wife lady and I love Savannah! The history, the architecture, all paints a different picture from today.
Limited experience with Charleston, but enjoyed it as well.

Thank you so much, Marty! I loved every minute and every picture. I feel like I went on a vacation and got a history lesson as well. The only problem is that I didn't see hardly anything I could eat. Surely you ate more than one plate of shrimp and grits -- looked lovely, BTW.

The whole problem was since I did all the driving the women were in charge of finding meals, when I had the choice it was shrimp & grits and "Harry's" in St. Augustine.

We went to St Augustine back in the 90s, and then again 3 years ago. It just wasn’t the same.
My cigar rolling shop was gone too!
Savannah, GA, very nice.
Looks like ya had a great road trip. And glad you guys stopped at the bash!
