The players.
Tony,s was chosen by Vonnie as a rub and I'm glad it did.
Its fantastic on lamb.

Weber was set up in a Snake and used Banksia pods as smoke flavour, also great with lamb.

While the lamb was doing its thing at about 250f we made up sandwich fillers.
Sauce for the meat, red wine and Pomegranate plus Stock.

Caramelized onion

Buckboard Bacon, maple flavoured.

Sliced poatao bake.

And of course, loaf of Sourdough, freshly baked.

Back to the meat earlier.Roasted for 4 hours.

Into a pan with half the sauce and covered, back in the weber for an hour and a half.

Ready to shred.

Into a frypan and add some of the sauce

Lets assemble this Sandwich

A layer of butter toasted potatoe.

Some swiss cheese.

Get the lamb on

A layer of Onion

A layer of Bacon

A layer of Sweet pickled Beetroot, makes it authentic aussie.

Another Layer of Cheese.

A layer of Green Lettuce.

A layer of Tomatoe

Lets put the lid on it

My serve

Thanks so much for looking
Excessive and tasty

Killer sammich Titch. Extra pickled beetroots on mine please.

Wow. That is a truly incredible beast—on a site that has a lot of impressive stuff. Great job!
I was in Brisbane for 4 months studying, never got used to the beets, but on that monster I bet it’s fantastic. Thanks for the fun post.

Thank you
I have a cupboard full of Slap Ya mama, we use it in our saveloys and bacon

I had to break out the dictionary for saveloys, never heard of them. I have a gallon jug of slap ya mama that I bought on black friday, I might have to find a recipe.

I have heard of that one but it's a bit pricey up here! There's a company that sells them for 10-15$ a pod , they use them for crafts and wood working/turning on lathes! Thx for responding to my ? , I've looked at your sandwhich 3x already it's killing me! Glad to see your feeling better!
