Does anyone know where I can get a stand alone firebox door and frame? I've got a 275 gal tank grill that is currently using a pair of Vogelzang wood stove doors (one on each end), but am looking to replace them with something larger to make loading charcoal easier. I'm working on getting started on welding, but was looking for a bolt-on in the mean-time.

Any ideas? Any DIY welders on here interested in maybe fabricating a pair for me?

Thanks,

Thanks, no worries. Hopefully these uploaded correctly. Basically I want the same thing, just bigger. The opening of the Vogelzang doors is only 10" x 10" ID. I'd like to go wider, taller is ok. But really looking for wider.

Right now it's got the basic double-barrel stove kit doors. I can't seem to find anything pre-fabed that is bigger or not ridiculously expensive. I've asked around for some local welding help but most have come out super expensive as well.

I'm working on getting started on welding, just not there yet.

I seen some doors at a chimney shoppe before, They used them on the outside to remove the ash, all different sizes..

You might try looking for a small fab shop in your area or even a hobby welder that could make a door to whatever size you want with a flange with holes pre drilled/punched so you could then bolt it to you tank.

I am looking to put doors on my outdoor fireplace w/ argentinean grill. It is bigger than what you are taking about 30x26.

The quote i for from local fireplace and stove manufacturer was like $1700 so I still looking for an option.

Let me know what you find.
