Picked up a couple of prime picanahs. Once again without the fat cap but it's still an excellent cut.

Reverse seared on my Weber Summit Kamado / Genesis gasser.

Pulled around 125 and let rest for 20 or 25 min.

I love picanha with the fat cap but I’m digging the steak method, I agree with or without the fat cap it’s an amazing cut and it looks like you did it right.
 
That looks delicious. Never see it around here but, very willing to give it a go
