BBQ Bacon
is One Chatty Farker
We had some sliced roast beef that we pulled from the freezer and there was a request for Yorkshire Pudding. So a thought hit me that I should try something completely out of the box. Yorkshire Pudding pizza.
First thing was to get the pudding mix into a hot cast iron pan to get cooking.
For sauce we used horseradish mayo thinned out with some cream.
Throw on some of the roast beef and mozzarella cheese.
Into the oven to complete the cook. Which was basically to heat the meat and melt the cheese.
Served with a side Caesar salad using homemade salad dressing and dinner was served.
The only issue I see was the pudding was a little too thin for this. I should have used a recipe and a half to make sure there was enough batter to fill the pan and get a proper rise. Otherwise it was delicious and something I'll definitely try again.
