This will be the 10th year of the KCBS sanctioned South Dakota BBQ Championships held on the SD State Fairgrounds in Huron, SD. Because this is the 10th anniversary of the event the committee has been working hard to put together some cool things to help commemorate it. There is $12,000 in prize money up for grabs in the KCBS portion of the contest and an additional $2500 in the Backyard BBQ and the Friday night Chili Challenge. As always, this is a Qualifier to the Jack and an auto to the Royal. New this year, we are an Automatic Qualifier to the World Food Championships taking place in Orange Beach, Alabama.
The event will be sharing the fairgrounds with Wheel Jam which is a huge car/bike/truck show as well as bands and the Midwest's best dirt track racing.
Enter before April 15th and save yourself $25 on the entry fee.
