I live in NY so the prices are a little inflated compared to the rest of the country.

I'm trying to redo my backyard and in the process do an outdoor kitchen. For 1000sq feet of patio, shrubs around the outside, a concrete slab for a hot tub, and an 11x7x11 u shaped outdoor kitchen I was quoted about $44,000. $15,000 of that is for the kitchen. Kitchen is concrete block with granite or stone on top. This doesn't include appliances, plumbing electrical. Is this type of price reasonable?

I don’t have any recent experience but that doesn’t sound too ridiculous. Depending on how you plan to trim out the concrete block for the kitchen you can rack up a serious cost just on that.

Move south. You can buy a new house with backyard kitchen included for that price. Well, you used to...Damn Corona.

44 bucks a foot, doesn’t sound crazy outta line for turn key.

I am doing the same....rule of thumb in Tx is $1000/ft, if you hire a pro to do it. That includes appliances. Good luck.

Doors and drawers cost so much more than I expected, especially as my storage space increased as the island got bigger through the design phase.
