Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm thinking about getting my son an electric smoker for his apt. balcony at college, and I haven't done much research yet, but I saw quickly found this one. Any other ideas that would be better but in the same price range?

Make sure he can use it. A lot of apartments and college dorms do not allow smokers or grills of any sort.

I'm having him check with his rental office for this year's apt and for next year's, since he has already signed a lease for next year.

I never went the electric route, but Masterbuilt seems to be a very popular brand.
