Beef Cheek Barbacoa Tacos

Did you know there is an On a Budget Throwdown going on?

Had a package of Beef Cheeks from Wally World in the freezer.

Grabbed some Naturrific New Mexico rub and into the FEC to get some smoke.

Couple hours later, into the sauna with some green chiles & beef broth and since it's going to be covered tight, no need to waste pellets. Into the oven.

Done! Sweet, sticky, beefy goodness...

Maybe breakfast tacos tomorrow morning. Thanks for looking.

Only place I can find them around here. Sam's used to carry them as well, but all the Sam's Clubs around here closed down a few years back.

Interestingly enough, Wally World is my best place to pick 'em up, too... if I'm not down at El Super, the local Mexi-Mart on the Rio Grande.
