Big Green Egg, Primo, Kamado Joe, and Akorn JR pork butt
This was fun. One of the questions I got after the Weber charcoal sale at Home Depot was “Can you burn briquettes in a kamado?” I know the official answer is no, but I do it all the time in the Weber Summit Charcoal grill so I don’t know why it would be an issue in the ceramics except for ash...- Baby Back Maniac

My new Grillfriend arrived yesterday!
That hole in my Heart err Cart has been Filled! I received my Oval XL kamado yesterday around 4:00 P.M. The driver (Brian Cooney) was very helpful and let me open the box to inspect the contents (and even helped me lift it onto the cart) so I signed for it with no exceptions... -

Beef Ribs
Just put some nice looking beef ribs on the Primo XL. Rubbed with Magic Dust and cooking them with apple chunks. Last time I cooked these the silverskin on the back made them near inedible so I went at them pretty hard with the trimming this time around. A friend of mine claims that in good ribs...
