Here's the custom coal doors. Sliding vent in the center. Magnetized for snug fit.

Done with masonry

344 bricks, 52 blocks, about 30(60lb) bags mortar, and a yard of ready mix for the pad. This thing is built like a brick -----house.

In two weeks the top and rack will be fabbed on site. Pig roast for Thanksgiving if all goes to schedule!

35 trees were tall, but not wide, all hardwoods! And yes, I have more grass to mow, bad subject! Now to learn the fine art of charcoal. Will be using Kingsford on my first cook, can't mess up the Thanksgiving Pig.
