Contest Announcment Winter Burn 2013 - Des Plaines, IL

Who's up for an true Winter cook-off? February 17th, Des Plaines, IL is having their annual Winter Burn-off at River Rand Bowling alley. Categories include:

Sausage - 1:30 pm
Chicken - 2:00 pm
Ribs - 2:30 pm
Pork Loin/Tenderloin - 3:00 pm
& Chili cook-off 3:00 pm

Entry before Jan. 31st - $100
Entry after Jan 31st - $125

Go to www.kresmokers.com for more information. This is some type of charity cook, just not much information on it. I am not the host of this event nor have any affiliation, just spreading the word.

Sorry about that! I jumped on it (burnoff) when I saw the announcement, and had already paid when I saw your class dates. I think....or it might be chemo-brain?

I did get my questions answered. Looking to enjoy the nice cold weather cooking with friends and prepping for the upcoming bbq season. Just trying to iron out some new recipes.
