Picked up some Big Butz Chicken Dust from Green Leaf yesterday, so I decided to try it on some thighs today.
![]() Coated liberally with the Dust, put in the fridge to relax for an hour of so. ![]() Nothing like oak burning in the pit. ![]() ![]() ![]() Once they start to render out enough, give them a flip. Notice the green herbs still visible, they don't burn when you cook at a lower heat. ![]() Alcohol free January, decided to have a Hansen's Root Beer. ![]() When the skin gets nice and crispy, flip them back over to finish them off. ![]() ![]() Cody wanted some too ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed this rub, it had a nice depth of flavor. There are far more herbs in this one than I am used to using, so it was a nice change of pace. If you haven't tried and of the rubs Big Butz offers, now might be a good time to do so
