Happy phrickin Phriday Phu, Pharkers, and Pharkettes! Man, y'all Netherpharkers sure know how to live it up, seems like ya have a bash every other weekend!

Lengua tacos and skirt steak fajitas (for the faint of heart) here. Have fun and sweet thin blue around the world, Sistren and Brethren!

It's farkin cold and wet and miserable in Jersey.
Misery loves company right? So brisket it is!
Brisket take 384. Couple of stuffed fattys. Fresh andouille jalapeño sausage.
Maybe some ribs or chicken. Not sure.

How do you make Chimichurri? I've always wanted to know.

From my Argentinian neighbour.
We use her recipe but add more chili and more salt.

1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2/3 cup sherry wine vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 tbs of fresh coriander (Cilantra I think you call it.)
4 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano leaves
3 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons minced shallots
3/4 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
2 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

its a busy sauce but it shines on Grilled beef etc
 
This evening I will be grilling some jumbo Gulf shrimp, fresh Blue Cat fillets and some zucchini squash. Haven't decided about what to cook on Saturday. Sunday will be loin backs, ABT's, Big John's smoked baked beans and of course a naked fattie or two.

I wish I was gonna be at the Dutch Phorum Bash! :hungry:

Anyway - not sure yet. I Phound a Halal market in my area and they have these great chickens there, so I'm gonna get a couple of those. They're around 3# or a little more, which I think is a great size Phor a chicken - I did jerk chicken with one last week and it cooked up real nice. They also have goat meat so I'm thinking I'll check that out as well.

Happy Pharkin Phriday! I wish I was cooking something this weekend. I'm nearing the end of my cooker build, its going to rain all weekend so we might have to wait on painting til Monday-Tuesday! But Next week lets hope I can reply with a better outcome!
 
Wife is fending for herself tonight as I'll be out of town. Tomorrow I'm cooking 3 butts for a church dinner on Sunday. While the butts are cooking going to try my first shot at pork burnt ends for supper Saturday. Oh, and a fatty to be used in Keri's Hog Apple Beans...and some wings, because I can, and because I have crazy amounts of space in my new ASSASSIN 24.
