This and baste with maple syrup a couple of time at the end-
1/4 cup turbinado sugar
1/4 cup salt free chili powder
2 teaspoons of ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of ground white pepper

X2. This is an outstanding homemade rub recipe. This is the only rub I use. I use penzy's spices, substitute turbinado sugar for regular sugar and add a mixture of herbs.

I love cimarron doc rib rub but since i'm Canadian I have easier to get my hands on buster rhino's Super Secret XXX Rib Rub from Whitby. Then I prefer to finish them off with Buster Rhino's sauce but since any Buster Rhynos doesn't last long in my house I often just resort to whatever is around.
