I am in charge of the grill tonight..imagine that! Doing Pork loin and Threaser Shark, anyone like to suggest a marinade for these two?

Will be doing them in the Food Saver so I am hoping to get maxium penatration!

Jack Daniels Spiced Whiskey Sauce for Pork recipe

Source: Jack Daniel's Wood Smoking Chips, back of the bag.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup Jack Daniel's Whiskey
1/4 cup Dijon-style mustard
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/4 cup corn oil

Combine all ingredients. Marinate pork in refrigerator overnight.

Grill, basting often with marinade.

Makes 1 1/2 cups.

Servings: 4

I have not tried this one so I cannot speak for it.

Honey Mustard Pork Tenderloin:

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 medium , Pork Tenderloin
  • 4 tablespoon(s) , Honey
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Paprika
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine remaining ingredients thoroughly. Coat tenderloin well with sauce. Roast at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, or cook on the grill v(preferred method) basing occasionally, until meat thermometer registers 160 degrees. Slice thinly to serve.


This works for fish I use it for Black Tip Shark.

Teriyaki Marinade for Mahi Mahi recipe
From the kitchen of Kevin Taylor, the BBQ Guru

Ingredients:

1/4 cup dark soy sauce
1/4 cup sweet sherry
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped
1 teaspoon minced garlic

Combine all ingredients and whisk together.

Marinade fish for 30 minutes.

If you want to use the remaining marinade for a mop, be sure to boil.

Grill fish over high heat.
