Here's what I've learned. The WGA does not like wind. Take your time in set up for maximum wind blockage and it works fine. It also gets hot fast. The new griddle acts as its own flavorizer bar. Smoke rolling quickly. Set up cleanup and take down easy and quick. Lots of possibilities for dining at my part time job (which is 17 shifts over 200 hours) this month. I need a road trip involving fly fishing casino and beer

Never seen the grate or I have a much older version. Correct on the wind is not good. I keep a foil wrap with mine at all times.

Dang... that's one heck of a part time job. I can see why you need a fishin', gamlin', drinkin' trip!
Nice set up though. Looks very handy! I take it Stanley stayed home?

Did that grate come with or is it an upgrade?

That is the grate that came with it. There no longer is a flavorizer bar, there is no adjustment to turn up the flame. I have nothing to compare it to. My first rodeo with a mini gasser. But when you want a hot meal instead of a cellophane wrapped gut bomb this thing is pretty cool.

If you search it on Amazon and other retail sites you can see it does not get glowing reviews. Then again some people and their keyboard courage just like to bitc*

Glad you've got good grub on the road... and that's a might fine sunset shot, too.

Safe travels!
