So my wife and I decided in May to make some big changes and break some bad habits and focus hard on creating and maintaining good habits. Collectively we've lost 105lbs so far. Today I celebrate 65lbs lost and my wife 40lbs down. We both have a ways to go yet to hit our ultimate goals. However I felt that we both deserved a little guilty pleasure today.

Sorry I don't have all the prep pics, just a finished shot.

Started with 80/20 ground chuck. Formed into patties and dusted with Weber's steak and chop seasoning, smoked indirect on the OTG with cherry wood for about 20 minutes. while the burgers where getting happy I roasted 3 hatch chilies over the coals. I Then seared the burgers to medium over the hot side of the grill. Topped with heirloom tomatoes, pickles, red onion, pepper jack cheese, hickory smoked bacon and the roasted hatch chiles!

Thanks for looking!

Aaron,

HUGE congratulations to you both on the results of your hard work! Lord knows that ain't easy.

Glad that you "fell off the wagon" and enjoyed an amazing burger together in celebration. That looks delicious!
