Brethren,

I am wanting to give the butcher paper wrapped Q a go but man I just cant justify ordering a 1K foot roll of paper. I have seen some suggest sams club etc.. but there isnt anything like that for at least three hours in any direction. So does anybody have a source for smaller quantities of butchery paper that are suitable for BBQ use?

I got a small roll of 24" wide brown Kraft paper at Hobby Lobby for $3 or so. Worked great for my brisket.

I bought the standard size roll

I use it for all kinds of cooking stuff. Its great to line my counters and prep pans with, makes for real easy cleanup

I use it more for that than for cooking meat in now that I have it

So is Kraft paper okay for use on food? I think i might be able to get that at The Mega Lo Mart or at least the .com version. and have it shipped to store

From what I read, yes, Kraft paper is ok. That is what I got from Hobby Lobby.

Oh, there's a huge roll at Costco.
I was looking at rosin paper -
the stuff contractors put on the floor because
they care so much about your hardwood or
carpet. The paint store has a much thinner version...
I don't need a 1200 foot long roll.
