316 Stainless UDS build help is welcome

Really like the table. Looks like mahogany. I would hope you can still fold it down so it doesn't catch a bunch of rain. But then again with such a nice piece of work would hope it gets a good cover when not in use.

The uds will spend its days unther the porch
So no rain only meat juce :)

Question

I have the exoust pipe for the uds its a 61 mm / 2.4 inch how long schould i make it to work good ? Im making it on the normal bung hole this has the same mesutments

Thanks

love the build!

it inspired me to go find a SS drum from a local supplier.

sticker shock..... a WELL USED, cleaned SS drum goes for $800 CDN. NEW is over $1300 CDN.

ouch...

so i settled for a free steel drum from work..... :)

looking forward to you firing up the SS drum smoker!

Your UDS is coming along great! Could you say why you made the exhaust stack so tall? I'm not being critical, just curious.:becky:
