This was SmokeDawg's entry in the 2016 "Make it Better With Bacon" Throwdown




CATEGORY DESCRIPTION - PLEASE READ:

1. Cook bacon! The bacon can be standalone or it can be part of a dish of your choosing. Be creative!

2. Standard Throwdown rules apply.
3. MULTIPLE ENTRIES ARE ALLOWED and encouraged for this TD!




You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 8/28 through Monday 9/28.


Entry pictures must be submitted by Noon Central US Time on Monday 9/28.

I didn't get an answer to my question from ↑↑.... Are we limited to belly bacon, or is Buckboard bacon or Canadian bacon a legal entry?

Pretty much any generally recognized bacon is fine! :thumb:
 
I wish I had a pig head handy. This would have a been a great time for a new batch of face bacon.
 
I would like to enter the Bacon makes everything better TD

I really did not make this for a TD but with use around 2 weeks from moving into the new house it will be a couple weeks of late nights getting stuff complete and no cooking time.

So please use the below pic of just a straight up old fashion nothing special BLT

Ah. I’m a rebel. And I’ve won 4 TDs. My spice cabinet is full and I’m living out of a backpack.

I did it for the science and the fun, not the prize.

It's not about the prize. Plus, we don't have a sponsor this quarter so there is no prize. It's about the fun!
