And the Piraat Ale, what a great combo. The pasties look great as well.

this actually Tonto's other half, Bud answering. You really have the Egg down to a science.

thanks!!

Looks awesome as usual, Rick. How did you crimp the puffs--with a fork or some cool crimping tool?

I'm gonna have to get a thesaurus to start looking up new words for yum....

I have got to learn more about the egg, I had no idea you could do that on an egg. What a deal. Awesome eats Rick..

yep... a fork. there's an eggwash made from one egg and one tablespoon of water mixed together and painted on the edges of the bottom piece of pastry, then place the top piece of pastry on and press to seal, crimp with fork, then paint the entire top with the eggwash. first time ever trying this and man, was it g-u-d gud!

Rick, put some panties on your pit bitch.

I like the use of the feet under the stone. That's a good idea.

That is not helping my new years resolution at all

BTW, I didn't notice a cook time or pit temp.

that was about 450 dome for 35 minutes. i won't use that aluminum grid for that again... kinda stuck a little, but not too bad. i had cut some parchment paper too small and that grid was just laying there on the table so i grabbed it.
