I'll be cooking for 100. Planned on deep frying six 12lb turkeys and doing pulled pork. Do I need more birds? How pounds of butts do I need? They are providing the sides and buns. Thanks.
I have no clue what the yield on a turkey is, but since you have two meats figure that you'll need 1/4 lb per person cooked weight of both meats. So, for the pork, you need 25 pounds of cooked pork. Most guys figure a 50% yield, so start with 50 lbs of raw pork.
