The elusive Tri Tip

So, I found a little place called the Meat Shop here in Indy that actually has Tri Tip roasts... seems like a delicious cut for the smoker.

$7.19/lb

That seems awfully high, doesn't it?!

I have paid as much as 6.99 for prime but usually select is 2.99-3.99 here...not to gloat

Cali seems to be the home of the tri tip. I find them on sale every few months and stock up. Id still pay 7.19 a pound. Love the cut....

7.19 lb! Wow it's on sale at our local Stater Bros. for 2.99 right now. I can get prime at Costco for under 5 per lb if I buy a whole vacuum pack. Is this for prime at that price?
