??? Looks like it could be an OK Joe. I think it's overpriced.

does not look like an OK Joe to me

It does look pretty thick, if he has wiggle room on the price might be worth considering. Might be worth taking a look at

Looks like the intake damper is on top of the fire box. but no cooking grate.

I would make an offer it it was close enough to me $40 worst they could say is no.

It looks like a Brinkman with homemade expanded shelves and a warming flat on the fire box.

Not 100% sure. However, I think it is an original New Braunfels Chuckwagon Smoker. If so, it will have an "NB" brand on it. These smokers were fully welded and made for a very short period of time. If it is this make it is very rare smoker.

Yep, Just noticed the "AY617"in a previous post. This is a New Braunfels Chuckwagon. Very rare old smoker.

According to the thermo, it's made by the Chuckwagon Cooker company. They were based in New Braunfels, TX but it wasn't the New Braunfels Co according to my research.

I have a Chuckwagon about the same size except mine had the vertical box opposite the firebox.

I paid $100 for mine, but it was worth a lot more.

Very Interesting Clark. I did not know that. The New Braunfels chuckwagon also had a "Chuckwagon Thermo". The New Braunfels Chuckwagon will have a "NB" brand near the top of the lid. I bet when it all said and done both companies were related in some form.

Looks to be 1/4" steel. Looks "stock"; no mods you have to un-mod. I have an old brinkmann very similar. They probably paid between $500 to $800 new; probably in teh $700 range.

It is indeed a Chuckwagon Cooker made in New Braunfels. They are heavy pits built in late 90 early 2000's. I love mine, but you better take some help to load it. It looks like a new bolt will repair the intake damper. Two new grates and your set.. You can't buy the materials for $200.00

My .02

It'd go for $200 here. You should see the junk on DFW CL for much more!

I'd go see it.

I saw this one as well, the price scared me away. I'm not going to offend him with a reasonable (in my mind) offer.
