Holy cow. That bird looks amazing. At what temp were you running and how long did that big boy take to cook?

With the use of my Guru, I worked the drum up to 350'ish for about 5 5-1/2hrs. I dont usually run my drum that high. Basted with butta at end of the cook.

Also, apple wood and the dry brine, in my experience, will provide that type of color. Butter adds to the sheen.
 
... if that tasted as nice as it looked.... WhooowEE!

Good Lord, and 24b-er, too! Holy smokes...
