I will be heading to Cummins GA to pick up my new Deep South Smoker then heading over to Lawrenceville GA for Tenacious Q BBQ Class.
I will arrive in Cummins 2/20 and will be leaving Lawrenceville GA 2/22. I was just wondering where to hit good places to eat or if any Brethren would be up for a cold one at the local watering hole?

Attached here is my 2 routes I will be traveling

I grew up in Knoxville and still go back to visit once in a while - great place! I haven't been to Dead End BBQ but I've heard good things about it. I think the guys who run it are comp cooks.

I'd bet that Jason would tell you to try Foggy Bottom BBQ . It's just down the road a bit from the class location.

Yeah I will be hitting his place at least once.

My favorite places inside the City of Atlanta are Fox Bros http://www.foxbrosbbq.com and Community Q BBQ http://www.communityqbbq.com/

Fox Brothers are from Texas, so they do brisket best. Also, the smoked chicken wings are amazing.

My favorite thing at Community Q is Sausage, but make sure to try the mac-and-cheese!

You're gonna love Jason's class, and Erin's cheesecake!
