Charlotte BBQ Recommendations?

I am going flying into Charlotte for business on Monday and flying out on Thursday from MPLS. I arrive around 10am on Monday and have nothing planned or anywhere to be and a tank full of gas in the rental car....

I know it's subjective... But, where is the best BBQ? Looking for real BBQ, someplace that has been there forever.

Two suggestions out of Charlotte are Red Bridges BBQ in Shelby (a bit west of Charlotte) and Lexington BBQ in Lexington (north of Charlotte). MANY MANY people swear by Lexington, but it's not my favorite.

In Charlotte I'd recommend Mac's Speed Shop.
