Tom and Stacie Feil have been selected to be shadowed by Mens Health Magazine for the documentary "A Day in the life of a Pitmaster". This documentary is scheduled for release early 2015 promoting the 2015 KCBS Competition Season. Thank you Tom and Stacie.

Stacie and I are honored to give this interview. I hope we can make everyone in the bbq community proud. I know there are a lot of people more experienced than us out there and we will really try to convey what it takes to compete at least on the KCBS circuit. Thank you again for the opportunity.

Maximum 18" x 18" plate or display of choice by competitor
Garnish of your choice
Must be edible
Toothpics are allowed
No alcohol infused
No flavoring limits or requirements

Teams will get 1 dozen brown Grade A eggs (uncooked) at MABA Meeting
MABA meeting is at 1:00pm in Judging Tent
Turn-in is at 5:00 pm on Friday

I also have emailed with no response. I intend to keep inquiring! Soon there will be many people getting emails and phone calls from me!
 
I can tell you that the organizer knows he is being sought out. I looked at his stats today and :


He was looking at the thread about non payment of awards.


It sucks that you guys are not getting paid! Stay on him.

Thanks, Mark, if he would just communicate it would go a long way. He seemed like a nice guy, but everyone needs to keep this in mind...
 
We are aggressively working to resolve this as soon as we can. We have spoken to the KCBS board and have informed them of the situation. It may take an additional week or 2 to resolve itself. We appreciate your patience. This is a total embarrassment for a first year comp. We expect to put this behind us soon.
