Cooked 5 turkeys thanksgiving day.. cooked 4 for other families and 1 for mine. and the Pork Tenderloins were for my parents neighbor as was one of the turkeys. Gave away a ham. All of the families were very pleased with their turkeys! I injected the birds with an apple cider/butter mixture heavily seasoned with rub.. Rubbed the birds down the night before than kept them in the cooler outside by the smoker started cooking about 6:15am, loaded the birds and hams everything was done by 11am. Best Birds I have smoked hands down.. And I have smoked quite a few! The weekend before thanksgiving smoked 43 for my fraternity on my 600 gallon it was an ordeal! lol

Looks good downhome!

Fat cat'n it with your feet up? That's what I'm talkin' bout!

Thanks guys.. and yea I like to relax by the firebox on cold mornings.. my 250 gallon will ride at temp for 2 hours or so on the initial load.. one of the benefits of the oversized firebox. I sat there until it was time to add more fuel lol
