Anybody give smoked mozarella as gifts? How to package?

Hey all - cold-smoked some brie and some mozarella today in my new MES40, and it was absolutely to die for. GF preferred the brie, I preferred the mozarella. I can see smoking a whole wheel of brie, then letting it mellow for a month, but what about mozarella? I would feel a little goofy giving people vac-sealed cheese; is there any other way to package/present it that looks really nice?

I usually spend a small fortune on bottles of fine liquor for coworkers, but I'd be mighty proud to give them some of this smoked mozarella instead! Provided I can find a good way to present it....

OK - man, that opens up so many questions for me. I figure it would be best to slice the mozarella up before smoking; can I put the slices back together into the "log" and then wax that? I know mozarella is a bit different in that it's sort of wet where other cheeses are dry - would I have to somehow dry it first?
