South MS Brethren Bash

***DATE CHANGE***

I'm wondering if we have enough members throughout South East Louisiana, South MS, South AL and into Florida that may want to come hang out on the water for a day of BBQ this summer. The event is July 10 from noon until late. Anyone who wants to help with overnight smoking is welcome to come July 9. Or early in the morning July 10..

The location is BILOXI, MS. I live on the Tchoutacabouffa River which is great to swim in or fish and is Fresh water. The water is usually still cool in the summer and we jump off the large boat house into the river all summer. Kids will be welcome and I'll get a bounce house or slide for them for the event.

There are casinos and hotels near by. I'm located less than 2 miles from I-10 (Exit 46) and less than 6 miles from the largest casinos on the coast (Beau Rivage, IP, Hard Rock, Scarlett Pearl, Golden Nugget, Harrah's and many more). So very convenient location for a vacation.

The event is located less than 100 miles from the New Orleans airport or the French Quarter! Less than 55 miles from the Mobile Airport and only 17 miles from the Gulfport/Biloxi Airport. Just off Highway 67 only 2 miles north of I-10.

Nice digs. My dad lives on the Tchoutacabouffa as well and I'm not far from him, out in Beau Chene, next to Sunkist CC. Unless I'm over at one of our condos in Pensacola, I'd be down for this.

Done! In the upper right corner of the map there is a << symbol. Click on that and it pops out a list of people on the map. That's the easiest way to find a particular person.

You sure can. And, yes I built it myself from scratch. I can barely get to it right now, though. I've got the end of my old shop, which is right next to the oven, tore out. I'm trying to make room for an outdoor fireplace and a covered prep area. I was obsessed too. I kicked the idea around for several years before I finally did it.
