For those of you who don't know, The skylight Inn has something that you don't see in many BBQ joints. A James Beard award hanging on the wall.

Yep, Franklin won it for best chef(amazing achievement), but the award that went to Skylight was in the American Classics category. That award has more to do with the whole place and experience than anything. Takes time and consistency to pull that off.
