Thinking of getting one. My question is that my WSM are older and the door doesnt fit as snug anymore and the vents on the bottom probably are a little off just from transporting and all. Would that affect how the stoker will work?

No expeareance with the WSM but the vent/dampers are working now they should be fine for the stoker. My Kingfisher is far from airtight and still works fine.

I think you should be fine. I've got the wsm adapter and it's basically a dog bowl with a fan attached to it which you bolt on to one of the bottom vents. My door never fit right and I don't have any issues when I use the stoker with the wsm.

aside fomr the stoker issues, which i dont think there will be any, the door can be sealed better by making a foil gasket. crimp a one inch wide triple lkayer of foil around the edge and when u put it in place it will make a tighter seal.
