Vegeta in a rub

Anybody got experience of using Vegeta in a rub for brisket or ribs?
Advice would be mightily appreciated.
 
I use Vegeta when I grill potatoes and they turned out very tasty. I guess it will works with brisket or ribs.

It was mentioned in a TV cookery program over here (UK), £2 for a packet and decided to give it a try.
I used in some soup I made a few weeks ago, added some umami so I reckoned it would be good as a rub.

I have been cooking for over 50 years and I had never heard of this.
Thought maybe it was something like Vegemite.
